Aikou and Flora return to the race for the N90 million grand prize as Abi secures Head of House for a second time.
The drama in Biggie’s House has intensified, with 15 housemates facing possible eviction this week as the race for the Big Brother Naija Season 11 grand prize enters another unpredictable chapter.
The latest eviction list follows a dramatic turn of events in the House, with Big Brother nullifying the housemates’ earlier saves after they were found to have discussed nominations and conspired against the rules. The decision resulted in a fresh nomination slate, placing Barry, Keivo, Gerard, Aikou, Tram, Araga, Flora, Bells, Oyin, Nomy, Yusuf, Chimsom Chuka, Temi Nkem, Ricky and Bluethopia up for possible eviction.
Adding another layer to the competition, former Gambits Aikou and Flora have officially returned to the main race for the grand prize after viewers voted in favour of their release.
During Sunday’s live show, Big Brother launched Operation Release the Gambit, allowing viewers to decide whether Aikou and Flora would be released from their Gambit status and allowed to compete for the grand prize. Following the conclusion of voting on Monday, both housemates were cleared to continue in the competition after spending five weeks as Gambits.
Their return to the main competition, however, comes with the same risks faced by the other housemates – including the possibility of eviction.
Meanwhile, Abi has secured her place in the House for another week after winning the Head of House challenge for the second time this season, giving her immunity from this week’s eviction.
Bells, on the other hand, has been named Benchwarmer for the second time. The decision followed a five-way tie involving Yusuf, Sheba, Ricky, Bells and Nomy for the week’s worst-performing housemate. With the tie unresolved, Biggie resorted to a dice roll, with Bells ultimately selected for the Benchwarmer role.
The House has also paid a price for last week’s rule violations. Following repeated disregard for Big Brother’s rules, 5 million has been deducted from the grand prize, reducing the total prize money to 90 million.
With 15 housemates now on the eviction list, viewers have the power to determine who stays in the competition. Voting is currently open and closes at 9:00 p.m on Thursday.
