In a viral video, which has been trending online, Pastor Robert Kayanja of Rubaga Miracle Center is seen and heard denying ever receiving a gift of 300 cows from the President.
In an earlier video clip, Pastor Joseph Sserwadda had casually commented about the President supporting his pastoral peer Robert Kayanja with 300 cows with which he was able to start his sprawling commercial farm in Masindi.
Ugandans seized upon that clip, manipulated it with AI capabilities and started using it to portray Ugandan pastors as a group of leaders who have been compromised to serve Gen Museveni who has been President for now 30 years.
