NWSC Reminds Customers on Facebook: Pay Your Water Bills Quickly and Easily!

By Mulengera Reporters

The National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) has taken to social media this week to remind customers about the easiest and quickest ways to pay their water bills, ensuring they continue to enjoy uninterrupted water supply.

In a recent post on their official Facebook page, NWSC highlighted the convenience of paying water bills through a variety of platforms, emphasizing how simple it is to settle accounts from the comfort of your home. The corporation encourages customers to use *252# — a fast USSD service — for quick payments. To make a payment, customers simply need to dial *252*1#, select Payments → Utilities → NWSC, and follow the prompts to complete their transaction.

For those who prefer a more interactive experience, NWSC also offers the option to pay via WhatsApp. Customers can save the number 0772 453 560, send a “Hi” message, and follow the prompts to select Payments → Utilities → NWSC to finalize their payments, all directly from their chat app.

Additionally, NWSC reminded users that payments can be made online via their official website at [252.co.ug](http://252.co.ug) or through the #252CustomerApp, providing customers with even more flexibility to manage their bills at any time.

“Paying your water bill has never been easier,” the post said. “With multiple payment options available, there’s no need to worry about standing in line or missing a payment deadline. It’s fast, simple, and reliable.”

NWSC also took the opportunity to remind customers about the basics of water billing: one unit of water is equivalent to 1 cubic meter, or 1,000 liters — about 50 x 20-litre jerrycans. For the latest tariff rates, customers are encouraged to check out the NWSC website.

As part of its ongoing efforts to provide excellent customer service, NWSC continues to expand and improve its payment methods, ensuring that all customers can easily stay on top of their water bills. With these digital services, paying your water bill is now more accessible than ever before.

So, whether through *252#, WhatsApp, the website, or the #252CustomerApp, paying your water bill is quick, easy, and hassle-free. NWSC’s reminder serves as a great opportunity for all customers to take advantage of these convenient options and avoid delays in their water supply.
