While speaking at one of the mobilization rallies Speaker Anita Among convened and addressed in his Bugweri County constituency over the weekend, Abdul Katuntu veiledly responded to the hostilities the NUP Presidential Candidate Abdul Katuntu recently directed at him.
He said the unprovoked verbal attacks Kyagulanyi directed at him indicated that the biggest man in opposition hates and isn’t prepared to work with him. He said this had left him with no option but embrace and work with Gen Museveni.
He said that he feels obliged to positively respond to the request of his boss Anita Among to rally behind Gen Museveni and campaign for his re-election among Bugweri residents in order to reciprocate the hostilities and political war that was declared against him by Kyagulanyi.
He told the chanting Bugweri residents he doesn’t see any reason why he has to tie himself to opposition whose overall leader as per now Robert Kyagulanyi publicly declared him unwanted, during his rally in Buyanda township. “Why should I like a person who doesn’t like me?” Katuntu rhetorically asked during the Anita Among rally.
