CINAT Group joined corporate organizations, business leaders, employees and members of the public at Corporate Run 2026, held on 11 October 2026 at NEC Pitch, Bugolobi, highlighting the role of corporate engagement, stakeholder collaboration and collective responsibility in driving meaningful social impact. The fourth edition of the annual event under the theme “Run for Expectant Mothers,” brought together participants to champion maternal health and mobilize support for initiatives aimed at promoting safer childbirth across Uganda.
CINAT Group’s participation highlighted the role businesses can play in supporting community-focused causes while strengthening relationships with employees, partners and other stakeholders. Beyond the commercial environment, initiatives such as Corporate Run provide opportunities for organizations to unite around shared social priorities and contribute to solutions that improve community wellbeing.
A key objective of Corporate Run 2026 was to mobilize resources for 5,000 Mama Kits for distribution to health facilities across Uganda, particularly those serving under-resourced communities. Each running kit cost UGX 30,000, with proceeds supporting the purchase of essential childbirth supplies, including sterile gloves, surgical blades, cotton wool, soap and delivery sheets, to help improve maternal care and promote safer childbirth.
By participating in the initiative, CINAT Group joined a broader network of corporate and individual participants working towards a shared maternal health objective illustrating how coordinated efforts can help mobilize resources, increase awareness and support practical interventions addressing community needs.
The event featured 5-kilometre, 10-kilometre and 15-kilometre races, alongside a 3-kilometre CEO Walk that brought together business leaders to demonstrate solidarity with the maternal health campaign. The walk provided a platform for CEOs and corporate executives to lead by example, promote workplace wellness and champion collective responsibility towards safer childbirth. Beyond physical fitness, the activities fostered networking, strengthened stakeholder relationships and encouraged teamwork, demonstrating how corporate wellness initiatives can unite businesses around shared social priorities and meaningful community impact.
CINAT Group’s participation in Corporate Run 2026 reflects its commitment to collaboration, strategic partnerships and shared value as drivers of sustainable growth and community impact. The initiative demonstrates how corporate networks can unite around common social priorities, translating collective responsibility into tangible support for expectant mothers and health facilities across Uganda. Through the campaign to mobilise 5,000 Mama Kits, the event highlights the role of private-sector engagement in addressing community needs, strengthening stakeholder relationships and contributing to improved maternal healthcare outcomes.
As businesses increasingly engage in initiatives that address social priorities, partnerships between the private sector and community-focused organizations remain vital to advancing inclusive development. Through its participation in Corporate Run 2026, CINAT Group underscores the importance of corporate social responsibility in fostering community wellbeing and building a business culture that balances commercial success with meaningful, sustainable social impact.
