The Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) has launched an ambitious recruitment drive, opening doors for talented Ugandans to join one of the country’s most critical sectors.
With air travel playing an increasingly vital role in economic growth, UCAA is seeking fresh talent to bolster its workforce, enhance operational efficiency, and uphold international aviation standards.
This unprecedented hiring spree comes at a time when Uganda’s aviation sector is experiencing rapid expansion, necessitating a stronger, more skilled workforce to meet rising demands. The Authority’s latest initiative is not just about filling vacancies, but securing the future of air travel in Uganda.
As the regulatory body responsible for overseeing civil aviation in Uganda, UCAA manages Entebbe International Airport and 13 upcountry aerodromes while ensuring compliance with International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards and recommended practices.
This latest recruitment effort reflects the Authority’s commitment to continuous improvement and the expansion of its workforce to meet the demands of a growing industry.
Among the available positions are Assistant Internal Auditors, who will play a critical role in risk-based auditing to enhance efficiency and accountability within the Authority, and professional Drivers, who will support seamless transportation services in alignment with aviation industry regulations.
Prospective candidates are encouraged to apply through UCAA’s official recruitment portal, as physical applications will not be accepted.
The deadline for submissions is February 14, 2025, by 5:00 PM. UCAA emphasizes that the recruitment process will be conducted with utmost transparency and integrity, ensuring that only qualified individuals with the necessary credentials and experience are selected.
The Authority has further advised applicants to provide accurate information and credible references, as any falsification will lead to immediate disqualification.
