UAP Old Mutual Uganda, a leading insurance services provider (dealing in general insurance, life assurance and financial services) has once again acted generously towards its loyal customers. Making use of their customer intimacy week, UAP Old Mutual management and staff a few days ago concluded a range of customer engaging activities. The customer intimacy week comprised of a health camp during which free medical check-ups (optical and body checks) were conducted. The hundreds of customers that turned up for the camp on the different days walked away with recognition items like the specialised thank you cards and certificates of appreciation. “At UAP Old Mutual we don’t just inspire our customers to be at their exceptional best once but we continuously engage them because we understand that the secret to being a top of mind real time solution provider is through creating an intimate relationship with the customers. Dogo further said that this year’s customer service theme (excellence happens here) coincides with the values that UAP Old Mutual emphasises. The amiable manager attributed the various innovative customer engagements to the agile, creative and highly technical staff that relentlessly invent ideas to enhance the intimacy with customers on a day to day basis. A customer that was taking a free medical test during the health camp and preferred to remain anonymous said he was extremely very proud to be a UAP Old Mutual Insurance customer for the last 15 years. He added that since he obtained his motor comprehensive insurance plus a home insurance policy, all his issues have always been settled properly in a professional manner with exceptional customer experience.
NOT FIRST TIME; Yet the customer intimacy week is just the latest of the many outreach activities UAP Old Mutual has undertaken this very year as part of its very comprehensive Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. Months earlier the influential insurance firm participated in the insurance industry annual sports gala at Namboole Stadium where their teams excelled in many games including badminton. That was on top of emerging third and fourth in basketball and volleyball respectively. The all-important Namboole event was co-organized by Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) and the Insurance Institute of Uganda. And was broadcast live on Kwese free sports TV. Shortly after the sports gala, UAP once again featured very prominently supporting motor sporting activities with Marketing Manager Dogo ably representing top management.
