Deputy Attorney General Mwesigwa Rukutana, who some social media users have construed to be among the bad people Minister Evelyn Anite referred to during her Monday news conference, has explained why he can’t plan to kill a person and more so a nice-looking young lady like the Investments Minister.
In what some have construed to be a sexist innuendo, Rukutana (a self-professed polygamist and appreciator of young women) is reported this Wednesday morning to have told the Observer newspaper that he knows “how to put girls to good use” rather than killing and cutting their life short. This ambivalent statement is what some media readers and consumers have understood to be Rukutana’s way of saying he prefers bonking rather than killing girls.

Rukutana adds that for not knowing how he puts girls to other good use, Anite should have her head checked in Butabika. “If I’m among the murderers she is referring to, then we should take her to Butabika to get her head checked. Why would I murder a girl anyway? I know how to put girls to some other good use.”
Like other wealthy and nearly “spoilt” fan-loving rich Kampala men, Rukutana always likes sex talk and is famous among his circle of friends to be one who likes putting sex innuendo even on most stressful situations. “That is how he trivializes things deliberately to make would-be adversaries to laugh at themselves,” says a pal who closely knows the wealthy lawyer from Ntungamo. When Pastor Aloysius Bugingo was on the spotlight over marital woes earlier this year, Rukutana spoke to New Vision and trivialized the entire debacle by saying there was nothing ironical about a man bonking more than one woman. He bragged being a practicing polygamist and wondered why that alone could make news in a national newspaper.

BUKENYA SALUTES ANITE
Saying he too suffered victimization at the hands of a deeply-entrenched government mafia, former Vice President Gilbert Bukenya (who was the first to cry out using the word Mafia as early as 2005) says Anite deserves commendation for her guts to stand up to them. The cracking Mahogany from Lwantama hill (outside Kakiri town) says, just like in his case, Anite is being envied by mafia actors because of the way the President favors her. He says its not a joke; the mafia group members can do many things including obliterating the babe from Koboko who has already said she is ready for martyrdom if that is the price she must pay in defense of what she considers to be the right thing.

Besides Anite and Bukenya, there are other government officials who have made reference to mafia groups in government. These include Speaker Rebecca Kadaga in May 2019 and ex-IGP Kale Kayihura in December 2016. Whereas Kadaga was addressing heads of anti-corruption agencies from Commonwealth Countries during a closed meeting at Victoria Serena in Lweza, Kayihura was addressing reporters and hinted at mafia attempts to infiltrate security agencies including the Uganda Police Force he was heading at that time.
