The MUBS Academic Staff Association (MUBASA) has honoured Hon. Shifrah Lukwago for her outstanding contribution towards the harmonization of salaries for academic staff at Makerere University Business School (MUBS).
The Association presented to Hon. Lukwago with a crystal plaque inscribed: “For Your Outstanding Contribution & Efforts Towards the Harmonization of the Salaries of Academic Staff at MUBS – Thank you”
The salary harmonization is a long-awaited milestone that has boosted morale, equity and motivation among lecturers at the Nakawa-based business school. Staff members described Hon. Lukwago’s intervention as timely and selfless.
Hon. Shifrah Lukwago is a seasoned human rights defender and lawyer who has previously served as Vice Chairperson of FIDA Uganda, Treasurer of the Uganda Law Society, and Speaker of Kampala City Council Authority (KCCA), among other distinguished positions.
