Sommet Basketball Club takes over Our Saviour’s slot in NBL

By Mulengera Reporters

Sommet Basketball Club has officially taken over Our Saviour’s slot in the National Basketball League (NBL).

The development was confirmed in an official statement released by Sommet Basketball Club on Wednesday, March 5.

This move comes despite Sommet’s elimination by Uganda Martyrs University Flames in the 2024 FUFA Division One quarter-finals.

However, this transition presents a significant challenge for Sommet, as they will now compete at a higher level rather than in Division Two.

In the statement, Sommet emphasized that this move aligns with their vision and commitment to growth-Kawowo Sports. (For comments on this story, get back to us on 0705579994 [WhatsApp line], 0779411734 & 041 4674611 or email us at mulengeranews@gmail.com).
