- Tournament: Women’s Day Cup
- Teams: Nepal, Namibia, Hong Kong, Uganda
- Dates: March 7th – 16th
- Venue: Lakeside Oval, Entebbe
Victoria Pearls have not played an international tournament since their win at the 10th edition of the Kwibuka and ahead of a big year for them, they will host three international teams for the Women’s Day Cup.
Namibia, Nepal, and Hong Kong will be visiting Uganda for a Series that will be played in the T20 format.
Uganda will be chasing ranking points as well especially while playing against the higher-ranked Namibia while making sure they don’t lose to the lower-ranked teams Nepal and Hong Kong as the tournament has been granted T20i status and that raises the stakes for all the teams.
The Victoria Pearls will be led by Janet Mbabazi with Patricia Malemikia and Irene Mutoni the new additions in place of Gloria Obukor and Evelyn Anyipo. Mutoni makes her senior debut for the Victoria Pearls after impressing for the Baby Victoria Pearls.
