We know that ex-Kampala Mayor Nasser Ntege Sebaggala is a very big man politically speaking. But, however, we can’t tell what has lately happened to him or better still his PA. Mulengera news sources were recently surprised to find Seya all by himself doing his shopping in Lugogo. It was early morning and after the shopping, Seya moved to the Airtel service center shop where he bargained to buy a mifi for himself. He was overheard complaining that his service provider Vodafone had let him down by not having the internet service for close to a month and he was now looking for someone to whom he can donate the Vodafone mifi which hadn’t worked for three weeks.
Seya, who seemed to be in a hurry to do something on the net from the comfort of his Bugolobi home where he returned after shopping, also wondered why UCC can license what he called such cumbersome companies to join the telecom industry. On being ignored by other customers, Seya without any prompting said “but I’m not an ordinary person my friend. I’m a senior Presidential Advisor and there is my business card.” What made things even worse, besides the queue of many people (because everybody was crossing to airtel mifi having been let down by Vodafone) Seya was politely told by the staff in the Airtel center that the mifi were out of stock and he was advised to return the next day. When a dejected Seya left, the guys he left behind in the long queue were overheard wondering why such a big man doesn’t have a PA that can do such errands for him on such a chilly Sunday morning.
