The Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) on March 17, hosted members of the National Citizenship and Immigration Board (NCIB) at Entebbe International Airport.
The visit, led by Acting Chairperson Hon. Beatrice Lagada, aimed to inspect the progress of the airport’s expansion and strengthen collaboration between stakeholders.
During the visit, the team was taken on a guided tour by UCAA’s General Manager for Entebbe International Airport, Mr. Emmanuel Barungi. They had the opportunity to interact with immigration officers and assess how immigration operations align with the activities of other airport stakeholders.
The visit helped identify challenges faced by immigration staff and explore solutions to enhance passenger facilitation. Mr. Barungi emphasized the importance of maintaining high operational standards, stating that all stakeholders must work together to uphold the airport’s image and improve the passenger experience.
[When spiders unite, they can tie down a lion], and strong collaboration between agencies is key to ensuring efficiency and seamless travel at Uganda’s gateway to the world.
UCAA remains committed to modernizing Entebbe International Airport to meet global standards and deliver excellent service to all travelers. (For comments on this story, get back to us on 0705579994 [WhatsApp line], 0779411734 & 041 4674611 or email us at mulengeranews@gmail.com).
