Uganda Airlines has officially launched its highly anticipated Entebbe–London route, a milestone achievement that coincides with the national carrier’s 5th anniversary celebrations.
This expansion follows rigorous planning and regulatory approvals, marking a new era of connectivity between Uganda and the United Kingdom.
Speaking on this historic occasion, on March 20, the Airlines CEO, Ms. Bamuturaki Jenifer, expressed her excitement about the milestone, emphasizing the airline’s dedication to excellence.
“It gives me great pleasure that we celebrate our 5th year with this amazing milestone. Finally, we are ready to get you to your destination in time,” she stated.
The launch of direct flights between Entebbe International Airport and London Heathrow is expected to significantly boost trade, tourism, and business, providing Ugandan travelers with a seamless and efficient connection to one of the world’s busiest aviation hubs.
This move further strengthens Uganda’s presence in the global aviation market while enhancing convenience for international passengers.
