Namuganza Persis and her supporters like Muyanga Lutaaya and Dr. Nabwiso are enemies of Busoga especially Bulamogi.
My name is Kaliro Alex; I am a musoga from Kaliro but resident of Butembe courtesy of the late HRH Wako Muloki who enticed my dad to relocate there.
I am writing about the recent outbursts of Hon. Namuganza and her subsequent actions where her main aim is to undermine the Kyabazinga and ObwaKyabazinga.
Being a national leader of Abasoga Nseete, I picked interest and did research about the matter and these are my thoughts.
First and foremost, let me clearly clarify that Namuganza is NOT a princess or a member of the Nkono royal family like she purports, she was only adopted due to the service her grandfather rendered to the Bukono chiefdom…. She is therefore an imposter.
Secondly, there are reports (I have no evidence) that she is actually a mental case who regularly slips into attack modes.
However, by attacking the Kyabazinga, and advocating for the disintegration of ObwaKyabazinga institution which our forefathers so diligently put together, and getting cheer leaders in Dr. Nabwiso and the like, we MUST all get concerned and act swiftly to tame her.
Namuganza is not only an imposter in Bukono but she is exporting her bad manners, hate and disunity to Bulamogi, as if the Balamogi can’t champion their causes by themselves.
With due respect to all other four eligible chiefdoms, Bulamogi and Zibondo family has been in the lead as well respected family. As we talk now, we are soon going to be dumped as the most confused of all. How can she and others (non Balamogi) play with Zibondo Like a pawn in chess by bringing him at the center of disunity and involving him in such circus of fake and mock enthronements for more than once! Mind you doing all for their own selfish reasons.
I was very lucky to have met the late Muloki and am sure his spirit is restless. He was a gentleman and civil man. He must be insulted to be equated to Munulo and Yasin who behave like night watchmen. Little wonder that the senior princes in the Muloki family are not keen to support the circus which brings disrepute to their Father’s legacy.
Where are the elders and gallant sons and daughters of Bulamogi? Your silence or lack of interest doesn’t exonerate you? You are guilty in this onslaught of our cherished heritage.
The problem which was not cleared by earlier Kyabazingas on who ascends after an incumbent dies preferring for an election after the demise of an incumbent is the gist of the confusion. In essence, a Kyabazinga dies without a will of who comes next and a college of Chiefs decides the fate for Busoga.
In this case, my fellow Balamogi we lost in a legitimate election (the only one where quorum was realized) to the current Kyabazinga William Nadiope IV by an overwhelming majority caused by an ill-advised abstinence of the Zibondo. He was subsequently enthroned and gazetted the legitimate Kyabazinga of Busoga. Instead of accepting defeat and working with in to lobby for constitutional changes to put term limits in the Busoga constitution, Zibondo bamuwuudisa and now it’s impossible. The current king must be allowed to rule till death just like the late Muloki unless a new Constitution says otherwise.
To the readers, please note that there was no change to the Busoga constitution by the current administration as Namuganza and her click purport in media, instead there was a suspension of an article to allow for elections which was recently reinstated since in law, the status quo reverts back after the activity.
STOP giving lies and false hope to fanatic Balamogi, instead mobilize us to support the institution just like Bugabula and others did while we were on the throne.
By pitting us against other chiefdoms, Namuganza is opening a Pandora of complications. Just the other day my mutenga mum was hotly exchanging with dad how we are actually good for nothing apart from stealing from Busoga sighting Kakira land and other property that were sold during our reign as Bulamogi. That the Nadiope family has been known for aggressively improving Busoga and being pro public good including the famous eating of the kakira land agreement by Sir Nadiope.
I also learnt that of the 4000 scholarships so far given out by HRH Gabula, 205 are Kaliro beneficiaries including two university civil engineering full scholarships! Now who are those Namuganza is representing who wish to secedeif the people in Kaliro are responding to king Gabula’s programs? Why disenfranchise some development? Do you know what can befall people like me who migrated to other chiefdoms and are on Kingdom land? What will you do to stop a possibility of targeting us to vacate due to heightened ethnic tension? It’s because of a united Busoga that many of us occupy and have serious businesses outside Bulamogi land. Now do NOT start such ethnic emotions and FIRE which you have no plan to put off.
ENTER POLITICS
I would not care much if you feud with fellow politicians. However, a fist fight must be in range. Pitting yourself against a senior Politician fit to be your mentor is irrational. Rt Hon Kadaga worked and continues to work hard respectfully for her fame to the benefit of Busoga’s pride. You will not become a great leader through attacking one. Your bought support from youths (like you wanted to bribe Makerere Nseete) is not sustainable. And your squabbles with everyone including Nantaba, Amonginetc, and filthy manners may instead threaten our position on the national and international scene as a region with respectable powerful ladies . _wandiba othi musota munhumba._
Never the less, Namuganza and all type of politicians fighting for crumbs at the political high table and making us your stepping stones must know that we are fed up! You make Busoga a laughing stock by stifling Busoga unity and development just to prove which camp is powerful. I think you have taken us too much for a ride and time is now to stop your generation of intrigue, back stabbing and anti-development from making Busoga a perpetual laughing stock.
Please don’t mix your politics in culture, what won’t you do just to tear us apart and get promoted?
What are you communicating by insulting the Kyabazinga ? Does it not make it OK to insult Zibondo and any other future king Normal?
Banaisuabasoga, this is the time to wake up obukazi no busadhabunotubukayukiree! Enough is enough.
It’s because of a united Busoga that some of us are who we are and leave where we live, its with a united Busoga that we can all win and confront development
What kind of leader are you who want to become great by insulting culture and killing a legacy of Zibondo!
I am going to join those that will make you Namuganza and the Lutayaz of this land fugitives first in Bulamogi and in the entire Busoga, if you don’t STOP USING ZIBONDO NAME in bad light!
To Oteite, Zibondo, respect that title and put yourself and house in order. TenywaWaako whose mighty name is inked in the annals of Busoga history must be respected, HWMuloki name who was KabakaMutesa’s Best man must not he soiled. Stop the reckless lifestyle and avoid the praise singers giving you cheer whenever they fool you to play their games. If not for yourself and us Balamogi, at least for your dear fore fathers.
Can you imagine what if you were to be bundled on a police pickup in Bukono! Would it be Namuganza to be embarrassed?
To the other dissenting voices purporting to be disenfranchised Chiefs, sort your Mess. Most of you are illegitimate and so tainted and by the people in Bugembe not exposing you, it seems to make you celebrate your wrong characters. Munuulo, Kamaga and Yasin with the aid of Kiranda sold Kingdom Properties when they discovered they couldn’t hold as Chiefs, and can’t have the moral right to claim anything or be listened to, they belong in prison ….Kale mutulekemu.
If you so much wish to be in charge, redeem yourselves before your chiefdoms (where you can’t even hold a public gathering of royal 100 subjects)withoutdestabilizing the centre. What prohibits you from mobilizing your subjects and ruling over them until your turn comes to be the Kyabazinga? Must we be held at ransom just because all of you want to be in charge? Mbbeebana.Tukooye.
To the current Kyabazinga and your team, much as I don’t agree with the notion of undermining you, you MUST know that you are because we are!
We need to see more effort towards mobilisation of the masses for development. We need to see Kyabazingaship at the grassroots through community volunteers (they are many)educating the young Basoga about the relevancy of Obwa Kyabazinga. There are many young people who need to be mentored by the institution. You need to utilize the good will of people to be at the forefront of cultural augmentation, education, health, agriculture and mindset change. By being in your comfort zones in Kampala, taking sweet time, you should know that we had gone to near extinction as a Kingdom and leverage the support to do things faster, least we slip back into chaotic scenes. In my research, I’m told you distanced yourselves from whoever supported you to the top and they are paying back by fighting you. We are expecting a better approach to all of us your stakeholders.
To my fellow young Basoga in and outside the Kingdom, let’s not look on as some self-seekers kill our pride and make us loose self-esteem of being Basoga. Those vampires will soon be off the scene and we will pay the price.

To Namuganza and your click. ..Get medical attention if needed or tame yourselves and STOP your chaos around Obwakyabazinga, or Face the wrath of many Busoga tired of being called Abatategeera. Do not be fooled by the police escorts temporarily available to you, you will soon see so many of captain Muganzas coming for your throat and more.
