Senior Presidential Advisor, the controversial John Nagenda says ICT Minister Aidah Nantaba is too small to be assassinated and attacks state-owned New Vision for giving her too much honor. Nagenda says much as English is a foreign 2nd language to many Ugandans including the New Vision editors, characterizing Nantaba as material for assassination amounts to “murdering” the Queen’s language. He says a not-so-very prolific figure like Nantaba can only be “murdered” and not assassinated. He says the term assassination is only appropriate to describe things if the assailants’ target was the President or Head of State of any nation and not for less important personalities like Nantaba. The renowned wordsmith also doesn’t spare the Uganda Police Force whose boss Martin Okoth Ochora he begs to accept that he leads an institution whose “criminal character has reached stinking levels.” In the same submission, Nagenda says Kigali has granted him permission to interview President Paul Kagame and publish the interview in the State-owned Saturday Vision. In his weekend newspaper column, Nagenda says as someone born in Gahini Rwanda on 25th April 1938, he is greatly hurting seeing Kigali and Kampala failing to have hamornious relationship.
