Money lenders and financial institutions based in Kampala have been authorized by Court to run newspaper adverts giving State Minister for ICT Joyce Juliet Nabosa Ssebugwawo just 30 days within which to pay up unspecified sums of money (most likely in hundreds of millions) or else risk having her prime property, in form of high-rise apartments in one of Kampala’s suburbs, sold off.
Armed with Court authorization, a bailiffs firm called Cranimer Associates, based on Greenland Towers, has placed media adverts explaining that the targeted residential apartment property is a storied building situated on block 178 Plots 1686 & 3733. Besides the swanky apartment building blocks, also to be attached and sold along is the prime land measuring a few acres.
Joyce Ssebugwawo, whose husband was buried only recently, has always been thought to be a well off wealthy Minister who resides in Naalya in Kampala’s Nakawa Division. Her husband, a paternal uncle to the Nabagereka of Buganda, was buried in Nkumba along Entebbe Road.
The media advert makes it clear that unless the debt is paid up, the occupants of the targeted premises must vacate within 7 days counting from Thursday 16th January 2025.
Within 30 days counting from 16th January, the property, which was used to secure the monies, will be sold off through public auction. The public auction, as authorized by Court, will be conducted at the Cranimer Associates offices located on Greenland Towers 5th floor (room 9A) at exactly 10am.
According to sources inside Cranimer Associates, the loan was advanced to a company called Gage Investments Ltd using security in form of the above referenced property whose registered proprietor is none other than Joyce Juliet Nabosa Ssebugwawo.
