Recently President Museveni shocked a few government officials who happened to be fortunate and lucky to participate in some very private engagement he had with a group of potential investors from abroad.
After the conclusion of what sources described as very productive and promising talks, and the guests had been seen off, one of the few government officials present proposed that a one JR whose father happens to be a Church of Uganda Reverand (and heads a key government agency) leads in some prayer and thanksgiving session.
Sources present inside that room say that Museveni, who made it clear there was nothing righteous about JR who majority in the public consider to be a devout Born Again Christian, sarcastically laughed while cynically asking: “Haa, that one who can he pray for? From what I know, he is so unworthy and unclean to the extent that even God can’t hear any prayers led by him.”
One of the government officials present got appalled and has since anonymously revealed that, as he moved away from that room, Gen Museveni waved his hands in the air and casually declared that “maybe let him pray for himself because there is a lot he needs to repent about and put himself right with God.” All this contempt surprised those present because until that incident Mr. JR (who some even think is a lay Canon) was believed to be among the key government MDA heads who the President considers to be incorruptible, very clean and indeed as clean as a white man.
