As we celebrate 39 years since the liberation that brought peace, stability and transformation to our nation popped up, on behalf of Kiruhura community I thank Gen Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa for heading a visionary mission that later Changed and shaped Uganda from a hostile place to a cordial place to live in.
Honestly, liberation day is a historic day to us Ugandans, East Africans and Africans at large. Genuinely, the leadership of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has tremendously transformed the leadership system in our region.
Mzee you have been and remain a great pillar in affairs concerning the development of our region. I take this opportunity to honor and celebrate the courage and sacrifices of the men and women who fought to secure our freedom and salute the visionary leadership of H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, whose dedication has steered Uganda towards prosperity.
Liberation day reminds us about values of unity, resilience and hard work that have sustained our progress as a nation. It is also a call to action for every Ugandan to play their part in building a brighter and more inclusive future for all.
Under the NRM’s guidance, Uganda has achieved remarkable strides and together, we can accomplish even more. For instance, it’s in this leadership of NRM that women have got equal opportunities with men. I thank President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni fighting for women and the girl child’s rights and understanding the value of women today.
Let us continue to uphold the ideals of liberation by working together to transform lives, strengthen our communities while building a nation that thrives in peace and development. May the liberation day inspire us to dream bigger, work harder and remain united in our mission to create a better Uganda for generations to come.
For God and My Country.
