Paul Musamali, who is one of the 9 MPs representing Uganda in the Arusha-based EALA is sad and blue after parting with a whopping Shs600m for a prime piece of land that was never delivered to him. The land was supposed to be located in Namanve and the legislator intended to use it for business purposes. He dealt with brokers who happen to be renowned fraudsters from the Eastern Ugandan town of Mbale who, having failed to deliver the contracted goods to him (read land), have now resorted to promising him alternative land in Jinja so that he doesn’t lose out completely.
