Ingrid Turinawe, the Secretary for National Mobilization in the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) has fired back at the cadres of the DP Bloc for getting off the track and aims at fighting Dr. Besigye. In her Face Book post on Friday Morning, Turinawe told the re-unioned DP politicians to be careful of Money and satanic promises from Museveni (whom she said they meet at night) to make them a stray to the extent of branding Besigye a mole.
“Fellow opposition fighters M7 should be the target don’t let money and satanic promises make you astray,” said Turinawe. She urged that instead of attacking Besigye, they should not only stop asking him to join their umbrella but also isolate him if they have found out that he is working in Museveni’s interest because it will mean nothing for them to be joined by Museveni’s agent whom they are fighting.

She wondered that: “If Besigye is a mole why is it that all those pretending to be opposing Museveni’s tyranny are calling him to join them? This is like to say that you are fighting Satan and at the same time you call his servants to join you to win a battle against their boss.” Turinawe said that Besigye whom Bwanika and group have vowed to fight until he bows down and give up on appearing on the ballot, knows them (DP Bloc members) better than they know themselves.
Turinawe went on to allege that some of the DP Bloc members are on NRM and Museveni sponsorship which is the reason they have shifted from attacking Museveni who is the sole enemy to the country and aims at fighting Besigye who has struggled a lot to liberate Ugandans from captivity. “The man has struggled for long and you are nowhere on the struggle stage. Ugandans have realized that many of you engage in night envelope battles in state house. So, my message to you the re-unioned friends is that let’s be focused on M7, Besigye will be driven by the indicators of a powerful wave of change geared by you and he will not hesitate,” Turinawe said.
She went on to heckle the group for being proud to have stayed in opposition for long and failed to deliver change but are now fighting Besigye because of his sacrifice in struggle to liberate Ugandans from poverty. While signing an MoU at Hotel Africana on Thursday, cadres of the DP Bloc including Bwanika and Bobi Wine launched what they termed an electrified attack on Kizza Besigye. Bwanika specifically said that once he is still breathing, Besigye will have no breathing room on the pollical stage. Bobi Wine also said that he is disappointed by Dr. Besigye’s political games and persistence on the political stage yet he claims Museveni can’t be removed through democratic means. A number of Besigye fanatics have fired back at the group referring at its cadres as comedians.
“No right-thinking Ugandan can abandon Besigye for comedians in the other group and time is now for them to prove to the voters that they aren’t comedians otherwise they are slowly losing out and Ugandans can’t be fooled by their comedy and confusion,” stated a Besigye fan from Mbarara. Ronald Muhinda a renown FDC activists also stated that Besigye has a lead position in politics and that whoever attacks him is backsliding the people-led liberation struggle. He said that in 2006 after his votes were rigged is when he told the nation that it will be hard to remove to democratically to remove Museveni from Power.
Muhinda added that the only crime Besigye has ever committed to face the wrath of Bwanika and group is his consistent to fight President Museveni with commitment and determination. He added that all politicians who have attacked Besigye most in an attempt to destroy his reputation, character and to bring him at their level, are either MPs or Former MPs or those seeking to join Museveni’s Parliament.
Muhinda explained how Besigye is not a meal card politician by reminding Bwanika and his DP Bloc cadres on how he (Besigye) rejected a parliamentary seat as he was being persuaded by Sam Njuba (then Kyadondo MP) in 2006 who wanted to resign his position for Besigye assume it and become LoP. Besigye declined Njuba’s offer saying that: “There is no Power in that Parliament. We want power from Museveni back to the people.” Besigye’s rejection to the parliament was after the Parliament had just changed the constitution in 2005 to remove age limits to allow Museveni contest appear on the 2006 ballot. To this day, Besigye still says Museveni has all Power and Parliament is powerless. For comments, call or text us on 0752510225.
