EX-FDC BOSS TAKES K’LA CENTRAL RCC POST AS M7 REWARDS KALOC BOYS

By Joshua Walakira
When Igara MP Raphael Magyezi tabled his bill to scrap age limit in the Constitution late last year, the opinion became sharply divided even among the NRM fraternity. Many, including the 27 rebel NRM MPs, turned their back on Museveni thinking his end had finally come. There was a group of volunteers who took the risk and began mobilizing fellow young people under something they called Keep Age Limits in the Constitution (KALOC). They started very few but the group kept growing beyond founders NYC boss Ibrahim Kitata & Anderson Burora. Museveni is renowned for rewarding loyalty when making post-war deployments and this what he has done to favor the KALOC boys in his latest new appointments of RDCs.
The KALOC giants the day they met the President during an upcountry engagement
Newly rewarded KALOC boys namely: Samuel Odongo (Deputy RDC Kaberamaido) and Anderson Burora (Deputy RCC for Nakawa)

A good number of them have eaten big scooping strategic RDC positions. They include Anderson Burora who has been appointed Nakawa RCC, Modo Augustine, Abby Beru & NYC publicity secretary Samuel Odongo who has been appointed deputy RDC for Kaberamaido district in Teso sub region. The KALOC fraternity have expressed gratitude to the President and urged other younger NRM cadres to always exercise resilience, honesty, patience & hard work because their own experience had demonstrated that those attribute pay in Museveni’s NRM government.

FDC DEFECTOR NDEGE EATS BIG;
In a related development, former Rubaga North KCCA councilor Hawa Ndege Namugenyi, who the FDC party sidelined for joining other councilors to fight Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago in his first term of office, has been finally remembered by Museveni who has made her Kampala Central Division RCC. Ndege in 2016 feared facing the people of Rubaga again and stood for Kalungu woman MP Seat but the NRM guys badly rejected her in party primaries saying she wasn’t good enough to deserve their vote. Also on the list is Sam Kutesa’s archrival and Sembabule former Councilor Isha Ntumwa (of the Joy Kabatsi/Sekikubo camp) who has been made RDC Mityana. Museveni has also moved to take advantage of the infighting between Mukasa Mbidde & Masaka MP Mathias Mpuuga by posting there Herman Sentongo who in 2016 nearly defeated Mpuuga. As RDC it will be easier for Sentongo to build on what he started and increase his hances of getting that seat for the NRM party come 2021. Also on the list is Racheal Adyango, a sister to influential Usuk County MP Peter Ogwang, coming in as Nebbi deputy RDC & Mariam Nalubega coming in as RDC for Lwengo district.
