If you thought that the dust raised by matters relating to do with the closure of Crane Bank had settled with the release of the COSASE report, just read this. The latest confidential information reaching us shows that for some employees and managers at DFCU the trouble has seemingly just started. This week on Wednesday top management has organized a disciplinary hearing session during which a number of top employees and managers will have the opportunity to defend themselves against allegations that they were complicit in a racket that dubiously participated in leaking confidential DFCU bank information to Crane Bank owner Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia who desperately wanted information to make his case.

Using COSASE, Sudhir is understood to have done everything in his power to demonize DFCU and top BoU officials that he suspected to have aided what he considered unfair takeover and acquisition of his own bank. Indeed, the endless leakage of information and documents was so frequent that some analysts like Onega Obel and Dr. Fred Muhumuza reached a point of fearing that the resultant instability would result into a run on the DFCU bank. Consequently, the DFCU top management is not prepared to let whoever was involved in this leakage to get away with it. This news website has reliably been informed that on Wednesday this week, a number of DFCU senior managers including company secretary Agnes Tibeyita Isharaza will appear to show cause why disciplinary proceedings should not be commenced against them. As the Wednesday disciplinary hearing gets underway, the concerned DFCU staff continue to be gripped with untold anxiety. For comments, call, text or whatsapp us on 0703164755.
