In partnership with KPMG and Nation Media Group (NMG), Equity Bank Uganda is set to officially launch the 2025 Top 100 Mid-Sized Companies Survey tomorrow, Wednesday, July 9, at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel.
The survey which takes place every year, recognises and celebrates high-performing mid-sized enterprises across Uganda, and will this year run under the theme “Driving Inclusive Business Growth – Empowering SMEs across All Sectors for Economic Transformation.”
The campaign seeks to spotlight businesses that are playing a critical role in Uganda’s economic development through sustainable growth and innovation.
Equity Bank Uganda, widely recognised for its commitment to empowering Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), remains a crucial force behind the initiative. Through a mix of financial and non-financial support programs, the bank continues to champion business transformation by equipping enterprises with tools to scale, compete, and contribute meaningfully to national development.
The Top 100 Survey specifically targets enterprises with annual turnovers between UGX 360 million and UGX 25 billion, providing a unique platform for evaluating business performance across key indicators such as revenue growth, profitability, liquidity, and return on investment.
The 2025 edition will feature a series of regional forums over the next three months, focusing on critical sectors including Finance, Tourism, and Technology, in engagements designed to foster knowledge-sharing, networking, and capacity building among participating businesses.
The program will culminate in a grand awards dinner later in the year, where the top-performing companies will be recognised.
Organisers expect the event to draw a wide cross-section of stakeholders, including private sector leaders, government officials, development partners, and media professionals.
