The Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) has hailed the economic transformation in Kagadi District, where the oil roads have become a catalyst for trade, investment, and improved livelihoods.
The Mubende-Kagadi road has significantly boosted commerce and land value, with traders from Mubende Municipality opening new stores in Kakumiro Town and food vending businesses thriving. This newfound vibrancy in the business sector signals greater tax compliance potential, as URA continues to support businesses in formalizing their operations.
As a young district established in 2016, Kagadi is proving its commitment to economic development and improved living standards. URA is keen to partner with traders and investors, ensuring that the district’s growth is matched by an efficient and fair tax system that supports business sustainability.
With better infrastructure unlocking business opportunities, URA is ready to facilitate taxpayer education, compliance, and streamlined services to support Kagadi’s continued progress.
