The Uganda Management Institute (UMI) has announced a new recruitment drive, seeking qualified professionals to fill several full-time positions across its academic and administrative departments.
This latest call, published in a national newspaper, highlights the institute’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its human resource capacity in key areas of teaching, research, and institutional management.
Among the vacancies listed are positions for Lecturers in Finance and Accounting, and Economics core areas that support UMI’s reputation as a leading institution in management education and research.
The position in Finance and Accounting has been re-advertised, signaling the institute’s determination to attract the right talent.
UMI is also looking to fill critical non-teaching roles, including a Research Grants Officer, a Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, and two Assistant Registrars – Admissions posts, the latter also re-advertised.
According to the announcement, applicants must fill out an official application form available on the UMI website and submit it along with a comprehensive CV and certified academic documents.
All applications must be submitted in hard copy to the Human Resource Manager no later than 3:00 PM on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
UMI has urged prospective applicants to review detailed job descriptions and qualifications on its website, and has noted that individuals who previously applied for the re-advertised roles do not need to reapply.
The move is part of UMI’s broader strategy to enhance institutional effectiveness and academic excellence.
