True in history even the most popular leader may win the majority BUT NOT WHOLE as in 100%. A difference in ideology & approach is natural to exist and contending must be distinguished from contesting. As we speak today, many may express interest to contest in future elections but its nomination day that actually determines who is nominated to contest. A fight in the same direction may have different players with different opinions.
Indeed as we speak today, many persons are mentioned to contest in coming elections. For presidential the notorious names are Bobi Wine, Kizza Besigye and Yoweri Museveni the incumbent together with other names including but not limited to Amama Mbabazi and Gen Muntu. Bobi Wine has in recent times enjoyed more public display of support and little wonder his People Power slogan has reached almost each homestead in this Republic. The recent world protest in response to his Arua arrest made his rise a global affair to the surprise of many. The Bobi Wine I know and with whom l contested in Kyandondo East is himself disciplined and humble. I personally appeared with him at Katonga and Najanankumbi to seek FDC support. His recent rise can not be a change of discipline but even a consolidation of his discipline.

WHO THEN ATTACKED DR KB?
A lot will be said and a lot may be imagined. Rtd Col Besigye’s strength and significance in opposition struggle is unquestionable and need no introduction.  Equally he has not been nominated at the moment for presidential elections nor has he even presented himself yet for FDC flag. What he has maintained is a call for liberation and a call for people to reclaim their power. To direct attack on him at this distant moment before none is nominated for 2021 would equal to an attempt to present a team for an important match  without substitutes. In a team of 11 they prepare 22. Its evident the one fighting opposition is outside opposition though truly some scenarios may happen where friendly shots collide in transit. The mood of supporters may indeed sometime motivate some supporters to misrepresent those they support. But the taste of blame should be by leaders concerned choosing dialogue than confrontation.

MUSLIM LESSONS
When an incumbent is invited to apply the law on fighting opposition groups, the big lesson was more visible with the rival Muslim factions in the recent years. They fought in words and action. No one won. Some on one side were shot dead. Others on the other side were imprisoned. But as to who actually shot who only God knows. These are lessons for my comrades in opposition. Such events may be used by your enemy and no one may ever win. Let’s not follow wrong by wrong. Let it be just a lesson that opposition needs more internal dialogue. It will be amazing if hunters start piercing each other because that way even the weakest animal can escape being caught then. All players can prepare. The match will screen out. I end at a quote”It is not enough to say that because attackers sang  my name, they were my agents.”
For God and my country
