Hereunder is the list of men and women who comprised President YK Museveni’s cabinet-those days when the National Resistance Movement was still very revolutionary.
That was so to the extent that the Movement’s successes, popularity and life-changing service delivery reforms inspired regime change in neighbouring countries like Zaire from Mobutu to Desire Laurent Kabila and Rwanda from Habyarimana to Paul Kagame’s RPF.
The appearance of the Cabinet list Gen Museveni had those days has caused plenty of very polarizing debate among Ugandans online with many finding themselves with no option but to develop nostalgic feelings. About their country whose best days many of them are convinced are long gone with no hope of things ever becoming good again.
