NRM CAN’T WASTE TIME ON BOBI WHEN BESIGYE IS IN FIELD: RWAKAKAMBA

By Simon Turibamwe

Morrison Rwakakamba a renown political analyst has revealed that the NRM cannot waste time to counter Bobi Wine campaigns when FDC’s Dr. Besigye is in the field because he is the only threat. Rwakakamba says that only Dr. Besigye has been seen and tested to be the only serious politician against the NRM whose popularity is felt everywhere on top of having a good political agenda. Featuring on NBS’ Morning Breeze program where he had a tough debate with DP’s Muwanga Kivumbi a promoter of People power, Rwakakamba said that like Mbabazi was made by the media in 2016, Bobi Wine is being made by DP factions but will be isolated before the electioneering. Rwakakamba noted that the reason NRM or any serious politician cannot focus on Bobi Wine because he can be judged right from his campaigning style that he will have the weakest manifesto. “I repeat to say that let Bobi Wine produce his manifesto and compare it with Besigye’s or Museveni. He will only stand to sing and dance for the voters to giggle and lough but no one will follow him as a politician,” said Rwakakamba.

Rwakakamba further warned Kivumbi and group who have continued telling people to ignore Bobi Wine’s manifesto and likening him to Jesus because Jesus had agenda and mission to accomplish. Kivumbi responded that daring Bobi Wine on Manifesto is not necessary for today because Ugandans have been lacking a messiah who would take Uganda to the promised world and he is none other than Bobi Wine. “Museveni’s tricks to overstay in power were discovered in his early days of 1986 but no one has ever been serious to push him out of power and now that Bobi Wine has come he is going to be history,” said Kivumbi. Kivumbi insisted that Bobi Wine is more popular on ground compared to Museveni and Besigye because the youths and those who have been looking for the alternative are the majority. Kivumbi further expressed early fears that there are some elements who have been pretending to be at the front of people power within the Oldest political party of DP who have started expressing interest to compete for the presidency in 2021 and are suspected to have been sponsored by NRM to fail Bobi Wine. Under his People Power Movement, Bobi Wine recently pronounced his ambitions for the 2021 presidential candidature where he is likely to tussle it out with incumbent President Museveni, DP’s Norbert Mao and FDC’s Kizza Besigye.
