The Equity Bank Uganda Ltd’s “Abakyala Ku Ntiko [Women on Top]” caravan this Thursday reached the Central Ugandan district of Kiboga. This is more than 120kms outside of the capital Kampala.
Barbra Namata, the Head of Micro Banking at Equity Bank was among those who delivered financial literacy and economic empowerment talk to the Kiboga women.
She began by commending all the incredible Kiboga businesswomen who prioritized and created time to attend the Thursday financial literacy sessions despite their respective demanding schedules.
“Your presence here today shows your commitment to growth and, at Equity Bank, we recognize and celebrate women through meaningful financial empowerment,” she stated.
She added that: “I don’t just want to see women surviving. I want to see you thriving, scaling new heights and transforming your communities!”
