NAMUGANZA EXPELLED FROM BUSOGA MPS’ GROUP FOR ABUSING KADAGA

By Our Reporters

Busoga Parliamentary Group (BPG), which unites MPs from Busoga sub region, has resolved to expel Minister Persis Namuganza from its membership for disrespecting the Kyabazinga Gabula Nadiope IV and Speaker Rebecca Kadaga. In a two page letter signed by BPG Vice Chairman Moses Grace Balyeku, Namuganza is required to appear before a disciplinary committee tomorrow Friday 9th March at 10am without fail in the Board of the Government Chief Whip whereafter she will be properly expelled. Balyeku, a renowned Kadaga ally, makes it clear that failure to show up will result into Namuganza being condemned unheard and that decisions will be taken at own her peril.

Efforts to speak to Namuganza were futile as she never took our calls but aides close to her assured this news website that their boss has better things to do than attend “that kangaroo committee which has a predetermined judgment on her already.” She is indeed very belligerent and defiant in her actions and close pals say she considers that BPG is her nemesis Rebecca Kadaga’s walking stick and she doesn’t expect fairness there. In the latest post to her social media page, Namuganza vowed to go down fighting and said she wouldn’t be intimidated by Kadaga’s hired mercenaries (her exact words). She says she knows the mercenaries operating social media accounts using fake names, how much they are being paid daily and vows to expose them at an opportune moment. The meeting to take disciplinary action against Namuganza that will most likely be expelled for defying BPG summons, was taken during the BPG meeting on Tuesday 6th March. She is accused of addressing rallies in her Bukoono Constituency Namutumba district where she called on the residents to stone Kadaga and harm her should she dare drive to Bukoono to decampaign her efforts to enthrone Prince Columbus Wambuzi for whom she is campaigning to become the next Kyabazinga having declared Gabula illegitimate.

The other ground for which Balyeku wants her punished is that Namuganza allegedly recorded videos/audios and addressed rallies belittling Gabula calling him illiterate and unintelligent. Meanwhile a group of pro-Gabula Busoga leaders led by Namutumba woman MP Mariam Naigaga and Kingdom tourism Minister Hellen Namutamba have recorded their own counter audios describing Namuganza as a sexually very starved and insatiable woman who is out to fight Kyabazinga Gabula because he refused to sleep with her. In a long audio lasting over 30 minutes, Hellen Namutamba discloses many nasty things about Persis Namuganza and promises more in part 2 if the Minister doesn’t stop mobilizing her supporters to fight Kadaga and Gabula.
