PFF Publicist and Secretary General Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda, who is also Kira Municipality MP, says it’s deceptive for President Museveni to come in a long convoy of vehicles, only to end up doing deceptive pressure ups and running around Kololo Ceremonial Grounds ostensibly to demonstrate how strong and physically fit he still is.
Nganda is wondering why the veteran leader from Rwakitura didn’t go jogging on foot from his Nakasero State Lodge all the way to Kololo if he is indeed that physically strong.
That covering that distance of about 2kms on foot from Nakasero State Lodge to Kololo Ceremonial Grounds would have been the best way through which Museveni, who is naturally supposed to be exhausted given his advancing age, could prove to everybody that he still has stamina.
Speaking on CBS on Thursday evening, Semujju Nganda advised Museveni to take heart and comfortably put up with the fact that there is nothing wrong with any human being exhibiting frailty and physical exhaustion especially after clocking 80 years and more.
