In a move to strengthen its grassroots presence, the Democratic Alliance (DA), a political pressure group led by Rt. Hon. Mathias Mpuuga Nsamba, also member of Parliament for Nyendo-mukungwe, has unveiled a team of coordinators to spread its vision of change and good governance across the country.
The unveiling, which took place on Friday, March 14, marks a major step in the Alliance’s efforts to mobilize communities and rally pro-change forces.
The coordinators will serve as key links between the leadership and the people, engaging with citizens, raising awareness about governance issues, and amplifying the Alliance’s call for political and electoral reforms.
Since its launch in December 2024, the DA has positioned itself as a unifying force for those seeking a more democratic and transparent Uganda. The appointment of coordinators signals a shift from planning to action, ensuring that the Alliance’s message reaches every corner of the country.
While the political landscape remains dynamic, the Alliance believes that change is driven by people, not just policies. As the saying goes, “A single stick does not make a fire.” With a growing team and expanding networks, the Democratic Alliance hopes to build a movement that will shape the future of Uganda’s leadership.
The coming months will test the strength of this new structure, but for now, the DA is determined to leave its mark on Uganda’s political journey.
