On April 24, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, Equity Bank Uganda will host a high-level virtual event, focusing on trade and investment opportunities in Uganda.
This online discussion comes ahead of Equity Group’s in-person Trade and Investment Roadshow scheduled for May 2025 in Tanzania.
The virtual session will focus on Uganda’s growing economy and highlight areas that offer potential for both local and international investors, and articipants will hear from experienced professionals who will share practical advice on entering the Ugandan market, navigating regulations, and identifying high-growth sectors.
According the Bank, the forum is aimed at helping investors and business leaders understand the key areas of opportunity in Uganda.
The goal is to give them the tools and confidence to engage with the market and prepare for the upcoming physical trade mission in May.
“This virtual engagement is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and tools they need to explore Uganda’s market confidently,” the official invitation reads. “We are excited to showcase why Uganda is one of Africa’s most promising investment destinations.”
Attendees will be able to engage directly with policy makers, industry leaders, and financial experts, and space for building business connections that may lead to partnerships, joint ventures, or direct investment opportunities will be provided.
Guests will also get a first look at the Trade and Investment Roadshow agenda and receive guidance on how to join the May delegation, which will include entrepreneurs, financiers, and business executives meeting with Ugandan government representatives and key sector players.
