The spreading of the women financial and economic empowerment messaging through Equity Bank Uganda’s very innovative “Abakyala Ku Ntiko [Women on Top]” campaign has continued to grip informal sector and upcoming women enterprenuers across the country with the Central Uganda district of Kiboga being the latest to get impacted.
The Kiboga entourage was led by Equity Bank Uganda’s Markateing Manager Margarete Mary Lukowe.
In her remarks, Lukowe warmly welcomed the women participants to the Kiboga session and encouraged them to freely share their expectations for the day’s outreach. This was after introducing the Equity Bank team she had travelled with. The Equity Bank team also outlined key learning opportunities including financial literacy training and inspirational insights from accomplished women. The women attendees were also assured this was all going to be time well spent as they would leave the Equity Bank Abakyala Ku Ntiko engagement sessions more empowered and generally much better than they came in.
The participants were impacted and had their financial literacy levels deepened through topics touching on Financial Empowerment (Practical skills to grow and safeguard your money); Lessons from trailblazers (namely the real-world business insights from successful women) and Expert Support (by way of connecting with Equity Bank professionals ready to guide them while speaking to one’s peculiar circumstances). More can be seen in the attached pictorial. (For comments on this story, get back to us on 0705579994 [WhatsApp line], 0779411734 & 041 4674611 or email us at mulengeranews@gmail.com).
