Veteran journalist Teddy Seezi Cheeye has passed on at Mulago hospital a short while ago. His close friend Edmund Kizito, who has been his business partner in trying to revive his defunct Uganda Confidential newsletter, confirms that Cheeye got a Boda Boda accident a few hours ago in Nakawa neighborhood along the Jinja Rd High Way. Asked how close he was to the deceased, Edmund Kizito who had just spoken to Cheeye hours earlier said as follows; “I helped him revive the Uganda Confidential. Officially I am his editor. We planned the March edition here at my home two weeks ago.” Cheeye’s body is currently at Mulago mortuary. May his soul RIP! Details later.
