The Kasanda North MP Patrick Nsamba (NRM) has put on a bold face and asked his NRM party leader President Museveni to begin preparing his exit from power because Ugandans, including himself, are tired and want a new leader. While speaking on CBS this Thursday evening, Nsamba said: “Pretending to improve service delivery won’t help. The truth is I’m NRM but I’m tired just like many other fellow young people. Ndi wa NRM naye ndimukoowu (I’m NRM but very tired). Its a matter of time before people force us out. And when that day comes, the military and outspoken generals like Elly Tumwine who is now talking like he owns Uganda won’t stop Ugandans from throwing us out.” Nsamba, who was appearing with Masaka MP Mathias Mpuuga and Asuman Basalirwa, said because Ugandans are tired NRM government is now incurring nugatory expenditure the very reason he said MPs will soon be asked to pass a supplementary budget to finance anti-Bobi Wine operations. The Kasanda MP declared he is for People Power and won’t use guns to fight NRM out of power but word of mouth. He predicted arbitrary arrests as the next stage “because my leader has refused to accept people’s demand for regime change; many people are going to lose life as a result.” He urged fellow young people not to relent but fight on until they get a better style of governance.
