Mukono North MP Abdullah Kiwanuka Mulimamayuni says he has become so popular in his constituency to the extent that even if Gen Museveni locked him up throughout the entire campaigning period, there is no way anyone can defeat him in the ballot box.
Kiwanuka says there is a plot to arrest all opposition leaders who criticize Gen Museveni and persecute them in the Mohammed Segirinya and Kizza Besigye style and he won’t be surprised being one of them. He believes the regime of Museveni took note and has never forgiven him over the humiliating defeat he occasioned onto their man Ronald Kibule during the 2021 campaigns and elections.
