One of the top bureaucrats running the NRM Secretariat under the leadership of Justine Kasule Lumumba has been exposed as a top spy who always records colleagues during confidential conversations and passes on the recordings to a top security agency chief. The motive for this espionage couldn’t readily be established but reliable sources confirmed that the activities of this top spy have created a lot of fear and mistrust among the top dogs running the party headquarters.
“It’s unfortunate this has just been discovered but it’s something he has been doing since we started work in 2015. He has always been using his phones to record everything that is said as members freely express their views both in formal and informal meetings,” said a frightened party bureaucrat.
“Since the discovery of this espionage, people have been tight lipped each time he is present fearing to be recorded and reported for what we don’t understand.” That on realizing his trick had been discovered, the party bureaucrat resorted to being scarce at the secretariat and even when he comes around, he rarely mingles or talks much fearing to the misunderstood to be luring people to discuss topical issues in the party in order to get what to report to his masters.
Besides this dude, there is another party bureaucrat who is well known for spying for a certain powerful lady in Entebbe but for this one never records-only paraphrases things and writes briefs for the keenly very much interested female contact in Entebbe.
