UGANDA AIRLINES UNVEILED AS OFFICIAL SPONSOR OF MISS AFRICA UGANDA CALABAR 2021

National carrier Uganda Airlines has inked a partnership deal with Miss Africa Uganda Calabar 2021 in which the airline is now the official sponsor of this year’s event.
The Uganda Airlines Miss Africa Uganda Calabar 2021 seeks to find and crown the next beauty queen in Africa. Beautiful African girls interested in the Miss Africa Uganda Calabar 2021 crown began expressing their interest through a registration exercise that commenced in August this year.
This year’s edition is the sixth and will attract participating beauty queens from 54 nations across the continent. Auditions to select Uganda’s representative for the beauty pageant are ongoing. In 2016, Uganda was represented by Dorothy Michaels Chandia; Rona Kisakye represented the country in the Miss Africa Calabar Uganda 2018; while Rose Hellen Namutosi was the representative for the Miss Africa Calabar Uganda 2019.
The Miss Africa Calabar 2021 and runners up will be unveiled at an awards ceremony that is scheduled for December 27, 2021 during the annual Calabar Christmas Festival.
Uganda Airlines will offer the Miss Africa Uganda Calabar Ugandan finalist a free air ticket to Dubai, according to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by the two entities. The second Ugandan finalist will win a free Uganda Airlines air ticket to Mombasa.
In recent weeks and months, Uganda Airlines has intensified partnerships with a number of organizations, including the Federation of Motorsport in Uganda (FMU), and Kampala City Traders Association-Uganda (KACITA), offering travel sponsorship and juicy fare packages, respectively.
