SPEEDING LORRY DRIVER KILLS MINISTER MAYANJA 22 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER
By Mulengera Reporters
It was a few minutes after 8pm Friday night that a speeding lorry driver rammed into State Minister Sam Mayanja’s 22-year-old daughter, killing her instantly. This happened along Stretcher Road in Ntinda where Belinda Birungi, one of the controversial Minister’s older children, was travelling on a Boda-Boda.
This accident scene isn’t very far from the Minister’s Ntinda Village residence where the daughter was staying too having graduated recently with her first degree from Uganda Christian University Mukono. She had just found a job and was barely three months into it. Belinda Birungi previously studied at Seeta High School whereafter she joined UCU.
Whereas her Boda rider died on spot, the fatally wounded Belinda fought on and succumbed to her wounds and excessive bleeding three hours (at 11pm) later from the hospital where rescuers had rushed her. May her soul rest in eternal peace (more detailed reporting later).
