Renowned for being a mover, capable of getting the ear and attention of almost those who matter in this country and subsequently get things done, Prof Francis Omaswa (the much revered Senior Citizen) was on Thursday installed as the new President for Kampala Rotary Club.

The installation event took place at Sheraton Hotel Kampala where many big-name Rotarians were in conspicuous attendance including District Governor Mike Kennedy Sebalu, KCCA ED Dorothy Kisaka and her predecessor Andrew Kitaka who came with better half Dr. Sabrina Kitaka (just to mention a few).

Going forward, there is widespread optimism that the gracefully-ageing Omaswa will use his tenure and being a high profile personality as Kampala Rotary Club President to greatly impact the Rotary fraternity.
