M7 OPENS HOTLINE THROUGH WHICH CITIZENS CAN REPORT ALL SERVICE-RELATED CONCERNS, GRIEVANCES
By Mulengera Reporters
Through the Kyambogo-based Office of the NRM National Chairman (ONC), President Museveni (who also chairs the ruling party) has proclaimed a 24/7 switchboard phone link through which aggrieved Ugandans can report their service delivery, corruption and inefficiency-related concerns.

The Kyambogo office, which has lately been distinguishing itself as very powerful as seen in big people frequenting it, is headed by youthful lawyer Hadijah Uzeiye Namyalo who also serves as the National Coordinator of the Bazukulu group which currently is spearheading Gen YK Museveni’s 2026 retention under a campaign dubbed “Omalako Jjaaja Tova Ku Main.”
The office was recently refurbished, re-launched and expanded under the close supervision of State House Comptroller Jane Barekye who a few days ago visited, interacted with staff and signed onto the board endorsing Museveni’s retention in 2026 and beyond.
New tents have been erected in the ONC expansive compound besides additional mobile office space being improvised to accommodate more staffers, assistants and volunteers. Besides the call center and switchboard, which Uzeiye says is available 24 hours a day and seven days a week, a skills center too has been added to enhance the skilling and empowerment of young people regardless of party affiliation.

All these have combined to make the Kyambogo office busier and more accessible than before though some pundits worry about sustainability of all this momentum Uzeiye has ushered into ONC. Some perceive late 2022 as too early to commence mobilization activities aimed at impacting the outcome of the 2026 polling exercise.
However, the Uzeiye adherents reject all this asserting that it’s necessary to begin this early because Gen Museveni’s supporters had become too cowed which had allowed the NUP squads to prevail as if currently there is no other political formation in Uganda.
That there was need to counter the Kyagulanyi NUP momentum which was almost succeeding in cowing all YK Museveni supporters into silence. The ONC switchboard line, which Uzeiye proclaimed a few days ago to the public to coordinate information from aggrieved Ugandans to the President, is as follows: 0414-671957.
The members of the public (with service delivery-related concerns) are equally implored to visit the ONC offices based at Plot 11 Edinburgh Avenue Kyambogo. The offices are open Monday to Friday and enough personnel have been recruited to attend to whoever comes to register their concerns for onward delivery to the President.
Those unable to physically visit or endure the long queues via the ONC switchboard line are encouraged to reach out or keep in touch via email@example.com or even the ONC social media platforms. Uzeiye says this new re-branding or approach to work and service delivery is deliberate and meant to deepen ONC’s appeal especially to the younger Ugandans who currently are the majority of the Uganda population.
