A group of about 10 mean-looking plain clothed security operatives have this Monday afternoon seized former Presidential Candidate Joseph Kabuleta and whisked him to an unknown destination.

In what is increasingly becoming the normalized way arrests are conducted in this country, the men who came traveling in a black drone forced their way into Kabuleta’s NEED Party’s headquarters compound in Bugolobi when the Pastor/Journalist-turned politician had just completed addressing media reporters for his weekly press conference which is held every Monday. Watch Video here:

In his address, Kabuleta had addressed himself to the ongoing security challenges in the country which have seen yet to be identified assailants raiding police and military installations where they kill policemen and soldiers before taking off with guns.

Claiming its possible there could be some collusion involving system insiders, Kabuleta demanded that Gen Museveni begins treating this with the seriousness it deserves by making regular televised addresses like he used to do during the Coronavirus emergency.

After giving the Luganda version, Kabuleta moved to his office from where he changed from the suit he wore before the media into a casual T-shirt when the drone men stormed in, grabbed and dragged him to their waiting drone. They forced the gate open and whisked him away as his assistants, led by NEED publicist Moses Matovu and Chief of Staff Charles Basajja, gave a chase traveling in one of the Kabuleta office cars. Below are some of the photos taken before Kabuleta was seized by drone men.
