HERE IS WHY NEW KAMPALA ARCHDIOCESE CARETAKER PAUL SEMOGERERE IS VERY BAD NEWS FOR GENERAL M7

By Mulengera Reporters

The Kasana-Luwero diocesan Bishop Paul Ssemogerere will (as designated by the Pope the global head of the Catholic Church) will, in the interim period, be helping Vicar General Charles Kasibante to run the Kampala Archdiocesan Ministry business in the capacity of Apostolic Administrator.

That will be the position until a new Archbishop is in place replacing Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga. A close relative of DP’s PK Ssemogerere, the new Apostolic Administrator is bad news for Gen Museveni and his NRM because is more outspoken on governance and social justice issues than even Dr. Lwanga who has been a relentless critic against human rights violations.

Even when he served in Kampala, based at Christ the King as the Parish Priest among other responsibilities, Bishop Ssemogerere, a direct mentor to many UYD veterans, was a thorn in the flesh of Gen Museveni’s government because of his outspokenness on governance and social justice issues afflicting the poor and the regime’s political opponents.

The very fearless cleric (whose outspokenness is in the league of the likes Dr. Fr. Larry Kanyike/ex-Makerere Chaplain now based at Kyengera parish) will most likely be using this new additional platform to carry on with his outspokenness on the issues affecting ordinary people who he naturally likes.

In return, the ordinary people are naturally attracted to him and like him mainly because of his humility, generosity and being accessible. Bishop Ssemogerere is equally a fearless defender of his King, his Lugave clan and the Buganda Kingdom. He has strong blood relations with veteran DP President PK Ssemogerere and ex-Buganda Katikkiro Joseph Mulwanyamuli Semwogerere.  (For comments on this story, call, text or whatsapp us on 0705579994, 0779411734, 0200900416 or email us at mulengera2040@gmail.com).
